ROSE BLOSSOM SERENADE (SERIES)
I have been so blessed to have enjoyed the gift of art since childhood.

- Jack Terry

This series reimagines digitally manipulated prints of Jack Terry’s Spring Bouquet I & II through intentional pixelation. These kitschy prints, emblematic of the rising upper middle class in postwar America, once adorned my grandparents’ home, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. By pixelating the images, I evoke the fragmentation of memory and the loss of precise detail that time brings. The work reflects how cherished visuals fade in our recollections, capturing both the allure of a bygone era and the ephemeral nature of personal history. Viewers are invited to explore the interplay between memory, identity, and the inexorable passage of time
