When you finally go back to your old home, you find it wasn't the old home you missed but your childhood.

This series explores how returning to a former home reconnects us not with the physical space, but with the essence of childhood. The work features sections of drywall, meticulously cut to expose poly-fil and a stuffed animal, symbolizing hidden layers of memory. Through the act of patching, the series reveals how fractured recollections are pieced together, inviting viewers to reflect on the bittersweet process of growing up and the loss of innocence. This installation invites introspection on the interplay between spaces and memories and challenges us to reassemble the fragmented echoes of our past with quiet urgency.
